Commisioning the Electronic library with initial 32 units of computers, high speed internet connectivity and 24/7 power supply, the osun state governor, Ademola Adeleke represented by his Special Adviser on Secondary Education, Sunday Komolafe commended Ologafe worldwide for contributing to education in Osun state.
He said the centre is capable of preparing students for external examinations like UTME and global competitiveness.
The Global President of Our Lady’s Girls Association, Mrs Yetunde Akinluyi highlighted that the collective interest of members to develop the school gave birth to the project.
She promised that the association will do more projects in the coming months as a way of giving back to society
She advised the students to make use of the e-library to develop themselves and be great in life.
The principal Mrs Dorcas Okunade acknowledged the invaluable contribution of the old students to the school.
She promised that teachers are more determined to ensure these project are protected, sustained and maintained
The climax of the event was presentation of awards to outstanding teachers that have demonstrated professionalism excellence and students, drama presentation while members of Ologafe worldwide also reminisced on the good old days
