Organized labour in Nasarawa State has refuted claims circulating on social media that workers in the state are demanding a 100% increase in the implementation of the national minimum wage.
In a phone interview with Radio Nigeria Correspondent Chris Nyamtu, the state NLC Chairman, Comrade Ismaila Okoh, clarified that the statement was necessary to dispel misinformation and keep focus on achieving a fair and sequential adjustment to the new minimum wage.
